Project Manager

The Project Manager is part of the Engineering & Project Management department and is responsible for leading customer-oriented warehouse and supply chain projects externally as well as internally. These projects are mainly focused on implementations of new customer requests and optimizations of existing solutions.

What are your primary activities?

  • Ensure the preparation and implementation of project specifications, project plans, monitoring of projects' deliverables, including risk and budget management.
  • Leading project meetings.
  • Managing project members (and/or workstream leads) to complete projected deliverables on time.
  • Intensive consultation with the internal and external customer regarding the results to be achieved, budget and lead time.
  • Consultation with stakeholders such as BD, Account Management, IT, Engineering, Operations. 
  • Report and monitoring / progresses / troubleshooting / risk management of the projects, needed by the different steering committees.

 

What are you bringing?

  • Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in the direction of Logistics Management or Technical Business Administration.
  • Several years of experience as an Engineer or Project Leader in a logistics environment.
  • Broad knowledge and/or experience regarding logistics business processes and concepts.
  • Strong organization skills combined with project management experience.
  • Effective English communication skills, in addition to German or Dutch
  • Analytical, result-oriented, and balanced.
  • Tactful, environmentally aware and a team player.

We are looking for a Customer Focus Team (CFT) Employee who is responsible for the planning, communication, and other administrative tasks for one of our customers. You make sure that the goods of the customers arrive and leave our warehouse on time. In this position you will report to the Account Management Coordinator.
