Process & System Expert

The Process & System Expert (PSE) supports the operation with the design, support, and improvement of (existing) logistics processes. You can be deployed as a subject matter expert or project leader within a project and / or operational team.

The PSE has specific knowledge of processes and systems related to one or more customer process/es.

In this position you will be a member of the Site PSE team and report to the Supervisor PSE. You will work closely with the Engineering, Operations, Office, and IT departments.

What will you be doing?
Be first point of contact for operational support in assigned work area.
System-testing, Execution of User Acceptance Tests (UAT), test results documentation.
Project-based support during initiation-, execution-, go-live-, and aftercare phase.
Focus and act on continuous improvement and optimization of operational logistics processes of different varieties (more/less complex).
Support Engineering/IT in implementing new processes and software (WMS, MES).
Conduct time studies/MTM.
Create and adjust work instructions, handover to operations.

What do you need: 
MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level.
Thorough understanding of logistics processes.
Experience with WMS systems.
Knowledge and experience with LEAN is advantageous.
Show initiative and be solution and service oriented.
Be able to lead and cooperate within a team.
Have effective communication skills. 
Analytically strong, accurate, and have a structured & organized work approach.

The Project Manager is part of the Engineering & Project Management department and is responsible for leading customer-oriented warehouse and supply chain projects externally as well as internally. These projects are mainly focused on implementations of new customer requests and optimizations of existing solutions.
